Ofcourse it scares off the birds,
but it's the spirits its aimed at.
I started at 5 and now it is 6:15 in the morning and I thought I still was all by myself out in that field.
Untill I slipped from a dike into the middle of a small stream, and loud laughter broke out all around me.
